I chose topic one for my final essay because I like Zeitoun and I have notes and I've researched about it and I have a great interest for that book.
Does
the United States government owe Zeitoun anything for his arrest and
imprisonment?
so far according in my reseach the government did not help Zeitoun neither did they compensate for his loss. we all know that he stayed back to protect his house and his business also he helped people who were suffering. he wasnt recognized for what he did, but landed up in prison for no reason losing his dignity and self esteem. I'm looking forward for more details for my final essay paper. also the challenge I face is climate debt, I do not know how to relate to Zeitoun but i have some ideas which I will be working with. looking forward to submit a good final paper.
